ImRs (Imaginary rescripting) can be used if you continue to suffer from anxious and negative emotions after a traumatic experience in the past.
ImRs is a therapy in which you (under the guidance of a therapist) relive a bad experience from the past. You then adjust this bad experience in your imagination (rescripting) with new elements, so that the course and/or outcome of the event is less negative.
These changes (rescripting) can reduce the negative emotions of the original memory, which can contribute to a reduction of your problems.
